REDMAN is a short film that plays with the conventions of Reality TV and comedy to address the local urban perception that red skinned/light skinned men have an additional advantage in a number of life areas, with a specific focus on their advantages with women. Jerry is confused about what women want. He uses the resources from a reality Tv series titled: The Hookup and hangs out with three red men, with the hopes of being considered “red” by association. When this does not work, he transforms his dark skin colour and tries again.
