Everton ‘E-Dee’ Dennis, a Jamaican actor and musician, was recently cast in two major Hollywood projects, Gangland Musical and Chocolate City 3. The musical Gangland is a contemporary rendition of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. E-Dee portrays ‘Ragga,’ a Jamaican mobster who transacts business with both gangs. Chocolate City 3 follows a new exotic dancer who arrives at the Chocolate City club and causes havoc. E-Dee was on the soundtrack of Netflix’s Chocolate City 2 and landed the role in Chocolate City 3 as a result of his music. It was difficult for him before he got these roles, but it’s getting better now that he has more work to show. He released a slew of new music and was cast in two new films, Temperature Rising and French Connection. E-Dee previously appeared in Out the Gate, a feature film loosely based on his life and starring renowned Jamaican actors Paul Campbell and Oliver Samuels.
